Jessica
is an attorney with the Law Firm of Edison,
McDowell & Hetherington, L.L.P. in Houston,
Texas where she
maintains a general civil litigation practice. She is admitted to practice law
in the State of Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern,
Northern, and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Jessica is the author of "Technology as a Panacea: Why Pregnancy-Related Problems Should Be Defined Without Regard to Mitigating Measures Under the ADA," 52 Vand. L. Rev. 831, 1999, published while serving as Notes Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
A graduate of Vassar College and Vanderbilt University School of Law, Jessica enjoys music, reading, rollerblading, workouts at the gym, running, and travel in her "spare" time.
Jason, also an attorney, received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and is the owner of the Neal Firm in Houston, specializing in representing property owners in tax assessment and planning and processes.
In his "off" time Jason enjoys playing ice hockey and "Texas Hold-Em" poker. Together, Jessica and Jason enjoy travel, cruises and scuba diving.
Jessica and Jason, were married March 20, 2004 at Houston's River Oaks Garden Club.
